Shipping Information What shipping service do you use? How much do you charge for shipping? Shipping is calculated based on total order weight in real time during the checkout process via the U.S. Postal Service. When will my order be shipped? We pride ourselves on shipping customers' items quickly and securely. Your order will be processed and shipped 24 to 48 hours following clearance of your payment (excluding weekends and postal holidays). Please note that when paying with an eCheck via PayPal, clearance of payment takes 3 to 4 business days. If you use the PayPal eCheck option for payment, your order will be processed 24 to 48 hours following of our receipt of notification of clearance of eCheck from PayPal. If, by chance, there is a delay in processing your order, you will be notified immediately with an explanation of the cause of the delay, and advised of when you can expect shipping of your order. Does my package really need to be insured? Yes, insurance is required. Once the package is handed over to the USPS, we have no control over any damage or loss that may occur in transit. These items are valuable and, since the Michael Hero line has been discontinued, replacement of the item would be difficult, if not impossible. Will I be able to track the shipment of my item? Yes. You will receive an email notification after we have printed the USPS shipping label, which will contain the shipping date, tracking number and a link to the USPS Track and Confirm website. PLEASE NOTE: The USPS does not always scan the package when it is presented to a local postal clerk or letter carrier. If you receive a message on the USPS Track and Confirm site that the shipper has been notified to expect your package, then it will be scanned either at the USPS processing facility or upon delivery. This information is updated every evening, as stated on the tracking page. What if I don't receive my package? Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will begin the tracing and claim process at our local post office or online at the USPS website, pursuant to USPS Guidelines. PLEASE NOTE: Pursuant to the USPS website, claims for Loss can be filed 21 days (after mailing) at the earliest, and no more than 180 days after mailing. Claims for Damage or Partial Loss may be filed immediately, and no more than 60 days after mailing. For items destined for APO/FPO locations, the earliest filing is 45 days after mailing, and no more than one year after mailing. What if my item is damaged when I get it? Please contact us immediately, and we will begin the claim process at our local post office or online at the USPS website, pursuant to USPS Guidelines.
